CSR=ClampStar Rigid Frame: Standard ClampStar "CSR" units are considered "Distribution Class" as they are designed specifically for application over splices below 230kV. ClampStar "CSR" units may also be used on transmission lines below 230kV. Consult the factory for details.

CSF=ClampStar Flexible Frame: ClampStar "CSF" series units are considered "Transmission Class" as they are designed and finished for EHV applications when fitted with Corona Shielding. The flexible frame allows them to be used in all applications, including splices, dead-ends, suspension clamps, etc. ClampStar "CSF" units are also well suited for applications on distribution deadends or other concerns.
